At Better Bookkeeping, we believe in investing in the future. Our Better Bookkeeping Scholarship Program is designed to support exceptional high school students who demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, and a commitment to their communities. By providing financial assistance, we aim to help aspiring students pursue higher education and make a lasting impact on the world around them.

Award Amounts: Multiple scholarships awarded annually, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per recipient

Use of Funds: Scholarships can be applied toward tuition, books, and other educational expenses

Application Deadline: June 1st each year

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Better Bookkeeping Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior with proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Demonstrate active involvement in community service and leadership roles.
Submit a handwritten essay reflecting on integrity and academic excellence.
Provide two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or influential figures.
Be a current resident of Solano County

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the online application form at
Step 2: Submit a 500-750 word handwritten essay on:
"How Integrity, Service, and Academic Excellence Will Help Me Change the World and How This Scholarship Will Help Me Achieve My Goals."
Step 3: Upload official transcripts verifying academic performance.
Step 4: Provide two letters of recommendation.
Step 5: Submit proof of community service and involvement.
Step 6: Finalists may be invited for a virtual interview with the selection committee.

Selection & Renewal

Applications will be reviewed based on academic achievement, leadership, community impact, and essay quality. Recipients will be announced in July each year.

🔄 Renewable Opportunity! Scholarship winners can reapply annually if they maintain a 3.5 GPA and continue their community involvement.
