In addition to keeping the daily wheels of the office turning, Teresa is our in-house expert on Live Scanning, our digital fingerprinting service, and in providing notaries. With a pleasant phone presence and exceptional client care, Mama Teresa continues to be the heart of the office and the backbone of the team.
Kristina Gardner
Founder & CEO
In 2007, Kristie set out to begin a bookkeeping company modeled after her own life mission: to deeply impact people’s lives with support, grace, and love. Her background in business and Psychology, mixed with her love for family fuels her drive for an accomplished fulfilled life.
Brittany Tapparo
Corporate Manager
Brittany, our Marketing Director and Corporate Manager, has been an integral part of our work family since 2018, taking on various roles with her infectious personality and marketing expertise. Her dedication and passion for excellence led us to elevate her to the role of Marketing Director. Now, Brittany is the driving force behind the shining digital marketing services of Better Marketing!
Gina Zolot
Bookkeeper
Gina comes to us with an impressive background in bookkeeping having previously worked for a realty company. She is very excited to join our team and is looking forward to expanding her accounting knowledge. Gina is also a proud mother of two and enjoys relaxing in her limited spare time.
Christian Kalis
Auditor
Meet Christian, a longtime member of our team who has recently stepped into the role of in-house auditor! With years of experience ensuring accuracy and precision in our clients' books, Christian takes pride in making sure everything is dialed to the penny. His keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence keep our financial processes running smoothly. Fun fact: When he’s not keeping our numbers in check, Christian serves in the US Army Reserves, showcasing his dedication both in and out of the office!
Tammy Sirois
Bookkeeper
Tammy is a Vacaville local, having been here for 20 years and a single mama of two amazing teens! She brings experience in account managing and bookkeeping from her previous work roles as well as a bachelor’s in social science. Tammy came to Better Bookkeepers wanting to work closer to home and in a positive, family-oriented atmosphere. She is pleased she found exactly what she was looking for.
Outside of work, she will be cheering on her two kids at their events, with family and friends, volunteering, chasing outdoor adventures, or at a baseball game.
Oscar
Furnancial Manager
Oscar is the newest member to join the Better Bookkeepers family. Oscar had a rough start and was found behind a dumpster during a rainstorm. Luckily he stole Kristie's heart and is now living the best life ever, and the office is just obsessed with him. When he is not taking cute puppy naps, Oscar boosts office morale with cuddle sessions.
